Announcing a future announcement… AGAIN!

Just a quick reminder everyone – If you want to ask me a random question such as what my favourite childhood shoes were or which literary figure would I boast about the blog to, you’ll have to think of something else because they’ve been taken!! Don’t know what I’m on about? Well, what’s new! Read on… 😉

The reason for this ‘save the date’ type announcement is, well, would you believe it…Aloada Bobbins turns ONE YEAR OLD next month!! How on earth did I manage it?! 😀

Naturally, I want to celebrate this minor achievement (which for my infinitely faddy tendencies is a major accomplishment!) but I was wondering what to do.

Hey everyone. 🙂

So, this should have gone out yesterday but we had a bit of a family emergency when my G-Pa (i.e. grand daddy Bobbins) was taken into hospital suddenly. He’s okay (ish) but we’ve had a bit of a battle on with the NHS and whilst they are fabulous on the one hand, at the moment they clearly couldn’t organise a viral outbreak in a petri dish. But hey-ho.

Anywho, the reason for this ‘save the date’ type announcement is, well, would you believe it…Aloada Bobbins turns ONE YEAR OLD next month!! How on earth did I manage it?! 😀

Well, it’s finally here. The year I should probably stop wearing my hair in pigtails and think about growing up.

Pfft! Like that’s going to happen!

However, I do have a significant birthday coming up in a few months, the sort that makes you want to reflect on your life and achievements so far. Let’s just say, it’s not my 21st. Or sadly even my 21 + 9th…

How it happened is beyond me. I mean, I’m fully versed in the planetary movements that cause the sun to rise and set each day, marking the passage of time but there’s still a large part of my brain that doesn’t really believe we’ve moved past about 1998!

Hi all, for today’s Fadtastic Friday, we will be talking facts and figures!

No, wait! It’s not that bad…hopefully. You see, I’ve found a new mini-fad playing around with making infographics, brought on by;

a) Being a regular blogger for a whole 3 months!
b) Passing my 100 WordPress follower and 500 likes mark. Woohoo! 🙂

I actually reached each of these milestones last weekend, which is when I made the graphic to celebrate (any normal person would have just opened a bottle of wine I’m sure…)

So really, this post is just a massive thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to keep going, via views, likes, comments or follows and not let it be ‘just another fad’! It really has meant a lot. 🙂 Plus, a big word of appreciation to Jason, the Opinionated Man, who I’m very honoured to welcome as ‘technically’ my 100th follower. Go check him out if you’ve not met him already – he does a fab job of promoting bloggers too! 🙂
