Two posts today, aren’t you lucky? (Maybe don’t answer that!)
As it’s the 6th of April, it’s time for another stab at some (very) short stories for Adam Ickes’ monthly challenge, ‘Six on the Sixth’. In essence, it’s six, 6-word stories on the 6th of the month.
This months prompts (which you can incorporate as actual words or not) are; HANG, INCH, PEDDLE, PILLS, GIANT and PLAN. Let me know what you think of my interpretations in the comments and why not have a go yourself? Pop over to see other entries, via the link.
PROMPT: HANG
His ancient masterpiece owned the room.
PROMPT: INCH
Stripped paint revealed forgotten, childhood markers.
PROMPT: PEDDLE
He brought mysterious wares from afar.
PROMPT: PILLS
Instant relief from sugar-coated placebos…
PROMPT: GIANT
Seemingly vast, age shrank her perspective.
PROMPT: PLAN
Blueprints showed their escape needed work.
Enjoy the rest of the week everyone and thanks, as always, for reading!

Thank you! You should still take part yourself, yours were always good. 😊

Glad you’re still writing them – I’ve only seen a couple of your entries on Nicola’s challenge so didn’t know if you still took part. 🙂

I try to post them on twitter but I’ve been a little caught up on work these past few weeks. Hopefully, I’ll see you soon on Nicola’s challenge… 🙂

Loved these. The ancient painting was my favorite. Sorry for the delay in getting to read them.

Very creative! Have you ever tried fifty word fiction? (http://fiftywordstories.com/)

I haven’t but I do follow another blog that is solely this type of fiction. Thanks for the link, perhaps I’ll have a go and submit something!

You’re really good at those. I don’t think I’d be very good at being brief.

Thank you! I’m sure it surprises anyone who knows me that I can write them – I generally use 15 words when one would suffice!

You are so ridiculously good at this Haylee.
You should put these out as tweets occasionally, perfect for so few characters.

Ooh, I might just do that, thank you! Funny that I used to hate Twitter because I couldn’t say what I wanted in 140 characters, yet I now love writing these!
