Six Word Stories: The Challenge, No. 7.

One week only – I’m a winner! I’ve won this week’s Six Word Story challenge on A Hopelessly Wandering Mind. Thanks to Benedict for choosing me. 🙂 Check out the other great entries too, here!

A Hopelessly Wandering Mind

Hello everyone, and happy Sunday!

I’m afraid I still haven’t got around to grading the stories from two weeks ago on Prejudice, but I do have the winners from this week’s Delay prompt – ironic I know, I’ll get round to it I promise!

So without further furore, here are your esteemed runners-up for stories about Delay:

She hesitated, he closed the box. (The Things I Yell)

‘Honey, I am five days late.’ (Real Momma Ramblings)

Anxiety multiplies as appointments run late. (The Storyteller’s Abode)

And this week’s winner:

Target locked, she deliberated. Huge mistake… (Aloada Bobbins)

Thanks once again to everyone that participated, it really is wonderful to read so many great stories, so keep it up. The theme this week is Betrayal, and as ever, you can find my effort below.

Vincenzo Camuccini, "Morte di Cesare", 1798,He drew the knife, brotherhood forgotten.

      1. Hahaha. You crack me up. The proudest moment of my childhood was winning a colouring completion (do you remember Jump magazine). Got a free frisbee and all. Was amazing.

      2. Mine was Care Bears magazine (I’m sure I was too old to read it!). I got a cuckoo clock and a letter from Grumpy Bear. Still reckon the frisbee wins it though, can’t beat a disc of joy!

      3. A letter from Grumpy Bear?! That’s amazing. Shit I don’t think I can be your bloggy friend any more. I’m too jealous. Ps. My brother won too. Either we come from seriously gifted colouring in stock or the competition was a fix and all subscribers got one.

      4. Oh see now I’m jealous of you having a brother AND being gifted! I’m an only child, so please be my friend or I might have a tantrum. You can’t play with any of my toys though, okay?! 😉
